Matt Young Is a Director Of Photography based in Vancouver BC. Canada. Being a member in the lighting department of IATSE 891 since 2016, Matt has gained extensive set knowledge and experience. From Matt’s background in lighting, he has Worked on many episodic and feature length productions such as "War for the Planet of the Apes" (2017), "Wonder" (2017), "Star Trek Beyond" (2016), "Altered Carbon" (2018), "A Series of Unfortunate Events" (2019), and "The Good Doctor" (2022-2023) and many more productions. Passionate about crafting mesmerizing visuals, Matt's strong dedication to lighting shines through in every frame he captures. While his primary focus lies in narratives, commercials, and music videos, he remains open to exploring new creative ideas and embracing experimentation in his craft.
